Subject: Nomination of Rev. Dr. Thomas Luke, Ph.D. for the Nobel Peace Prize 2025

Dear Members of the Norwegian Nobel Committee,

I am honored to nominate Rev. Dr. Thomas Luke, Ph.D., for the Nobel Peace Prize 2025 in recognition of his transformative contributions to the field of theology and his pioneering work in the spiritual integration of survivors of sexual exploitation diagnosed with dissociative identity disorder (DID). Dr. Luke’s profound impact on the lives of trauma survivors embodies the spirit of peace, healing, integration and reconciliation that the Nobel Peace Prize seeks to honor.

Dr. Luke holds a Ph.D. in Transformational Theology from Chaplains College School of Graduate Studies, where he graduated with the distinctions of summa cum laude and valedictorian with a 4.0 GPA. His dissertation textbook, "Transformational Theology," introduces a revolutionary approach to integrating fractured psyches, demonstrating remarkable success in healing and integrating survivors of severe trauma through spiritual and Biblical methods. The centerpiece of Dr. Luke’s work is his twenty-lesson curriculum, which integrates theological and biblical principles with practical counseling techniques. This curriculum has not only advanced academic understanding but has also provided tangible healing to individuals suffering from the devastating effects of childhood sexual abuse. His approach, termed “spiritual integration counseling” or “soul-surgery,” has facilitated psychological and spiritual healing within an unprecedented timeframe of ninety days, integrating the lives of those affected by dissociative identity disorder (DID). DID is the most severe, rare, misunderstood, misdiagnosed and complex mental health/trauma disorder affecting approximately 1.5% of the global population. Within Dr. Luke’s Ph.D. dissertation, Transformational Theology, he cited an article by Psyche Central, stating that the best psychologists can do is help their patients manage their symptoms, being there is no cure for the disorder. Rev. Dr. Thomas Luke is claiming a cure by inviting the Spirit of Jesus Christ into his advanced and obscure spiritual integration counseling system. Dr. Luke makes it clear that he doesn’t heal anyone, and that only the Spirit of Jesus heals and integrates the survivors. Dr. Luke is grateful that he gets to partake in the survivors healing and integration process by guiding them through his spiritual integration counseling system, which is a central tenet of transformational theology. Dr. Luke’s contributions extend beyond the academic realm into practical application. During his theological practicum for his Ph.D., he has personally counseled and integrated survivors, aiding their recovery and reintegration into society. His dedication to this cause is further evidenced by the prestigious awards he has received, including the Theological Practicum Award and the Theologian’s Dissertation Textbook Award, just to name two of the seven academic awards he received for his Ph.D. dissertation textbook. The impact of Dr. Luke’s work is profound and multifaceted. By combining his rigorous twenty years of academic research and application within the same discipline, he provided compassionate pastoral care, he has not only advanced the field of theology but has also provided a model for holistic healing that can be replicated globally. His work underscores the vital role of spirituality in addressing deep psychological wounds and fostering resilience and recovery among trauma survivors. Dr. Luke’s innovative contributions and unwavering commitment to healing and integrating those affected by severe trauma resonate deeply with the values and principles that the Nobel Peace Prize seeks to honor. His work represents a beacon of hope and a pathway to healing for countless individuals worldwide, making him a truly deserving candidate for this prestigious recognition. Thank you for considering this nomination. I am confident that Dr. Luke’s groundbreaking work will continue to inspire, heal and integrate, embodying the spirit of peace and reconciliation that the Nobel Peace Prize celebrates.

Yours sincerely,
