Noohand is a small village of 974 hectares in Rajgarh Tehsil in Churu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Noohand depends on PILANI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Noohand is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Noohand's pin code is 331305[4], and village code is 00603200. The area of Noohand is segregated as 475.39 hectares irrigated area, 352.82 hectares unirrigated, the 117.25 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 28.65 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Noohand has One post office (Nuhand B.O) and Eight public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Noohand has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Noohand is a census village in the district of Churu, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2374 and has total administration over 444 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Noohand has 319 children, 169 boys and 150 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 397 (16.72%) males constitute 220 (9.27%) of the population and females 177 (7.46%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 96 (4.04%) males constitute 49 (2.06%) of the population and females 47 (1.98%).

The workforce is 635 male, 653 female with 1024 (79.5%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 553 males and 471 females. 470 males and 441 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 16 male and 8 female agricultural labor. 264 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of PILANI and Churu to sell brick and make their living.
