Nyama is a small village of 2229 hectares in Sujangarh Tehsil in Churu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nyama depends on SUJANGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Nyama is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Nyama's pin code is 331506[4], and village code is 00667000. The area of Nyama is segregated as 2023.82 hectares unirrigated, the 160.62 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 44.35 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The workforce is 995 male, 901 female with 675 (35.6%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 462 males and 213 females. 351 males and 210 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 15 male and 1 female agricultural labor. 1221 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of SUJANGARH and Churu to sell furniture and make their living.
