Obri is a small village of 1278 hectares in Sagwara Tehsil in Dungarpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Obri depends on Sagwara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 9.00% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Obri is also surrounded by Two lakes. They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sagwara and Dungarpur to sell rice and make their living.
