Odwas is a small village of 1268 hectares in Kherwara Tehsil in Udaipur district in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Odwas depends on Kherwara Chhaoni, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 2.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Odwas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Odwas's pin code is 313802[4], and village code is 03287700. The area of Odwas is segregated as 43 hectares irrigated area, 135 hectares unirrigated, the 228 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 230 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Odwas is a census village in the district of Udaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2182 and has total administration over 391 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Odwas has 436 children, 231 boys and 205 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 33 (1.51%) males constitute 18 (0.82%) of the population and females 15 (0.69%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 2106 (96.52%) males constitute 1042 (47.75%) of the population and females 1064 (48.76%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kherwara Chhaoni and Udaipur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
