Oladan is a small village of 2685 hectares in Merta Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Oladan depends on Merta City, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Oladan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Oladan's pin code is 341511[4], and village code is 01827400. The area of Oladan is segregated as 798.2 hectares irrigated area, 1447.65 hectares unirrigated, the 282.9 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 155.85 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Oladan has One post office (Oladan B.O). The village is connected with a single bus service. Oladan has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Oladan is a census village in the district of Nagaur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2420 and has total administration over 404 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Oladan has 392 children, 193 boys and 199 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 641 (26.49%) males constitute 330 (13.64%) of the population and females 311 (12.85%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Merta City and Nagaur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
