Orry was born and raised in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, with his family involved in the liquor, hotels, and real estate business. He has studied and is friends with several next-generation star kids. He holds a Bachelor's in Fine Arts and Communication Design from New York's Parsons School of Design.

In 2015, Humans of Bombay shared Orry's story, revealing that he had struggled with issues like drug exposure and attempted suicide during his time at boarding school.
