Owen York is a Fine Artist and Entrepreneur, known for being one of the earliest emerging conservative fine artists and is a known Constitutionalist and supporter of religious rights and gun rights. He also founded the Gun Industry Marketplace.
Owen York was born in Libertyville, IL and grew up in Round Lake Beach, IL.
York's works of art have been sold worldwide. He has been featured in national and international publications including Ammoland[1], California Firing Line Magazine, The Polite Society Podcast, Nashville Lifestyles magazine, Liberty Watch Radio, Nashville News Channel 5, John Crump Live and more.
In 2020, it was revealed in a live interview on Liberty Watch Radio that he was a fine artist who was conservative, a gun rights advocate and the Founder of the Gun Industry Marketplace - a website he created for the gun industry to combat growing the growing censorship the industry faced[2]. Until this interview, his art and gun industry careers had been kept separate due to each industry's polarized viewpoints.
In 2020, he released a painting featuring Donald Trump brandishing a handgun which was featured in California Firing Line Magazine (the official magazine of the California Rifle & Pistol Association).
In 2023 he released his first "gun as art", in which he created an actual, functioning firearm as "art". The gun received international attention, announcing that it had been inspired by the billion dollar video game series "Fallout".
