PV Lehtinen was born in Helsinki, Finland. He is a film director, screenwriter and producer. He has graduated from University of Art and Design Helsinki as a director.[1] His international breakthrough was short film The Diver (2000 short film)| (Hyppääjä, 2000), which made history at the Tampere Film Festival by winning the Grand Prix and four other prizes.[2]In his many short films, water often plays an important role. However, he has emphasized that “the subject I am excited about will determine whether water plays any role”.[3]
