Pahari is a small village of 968 hectares in Niwai Tehsil in Tonk district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Pahari depends on Niwai, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Pahari is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Pahari's pin code is 304021[4], and village code is 02624400. The area of Pahari is segregated as 130 hectares irrigated area, 541 hectares unirrigated, the 130 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 167 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Pahari has One post office (Pahari B.O) and Fifteen public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Pahari has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with One recreational center.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Pahari is a census village in the district of Tonk, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1591 and has total administration over 285 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Pahari has 180 children, 104 boys and 76 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 309 (19.42%) males constitute 161 (10.12%) of the population and females 148 (9.30%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 89 (5.59%) males constitute 48 (3.02%) of the population and females 41 (2.58%).

The workforce is 454 male, 281 female with 641 (87.21%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 433 males and 208 females. 229 males and 182 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 28 male and 11 female agricultural labor. 94 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Niwai and Tonk to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
