Paler is a small village of 538 hectares in Chittaurgarh Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Paler depends on Chittaurgarh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Paler is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Paler's pin code is 312022[4], and village code is 03614600. The area of Paler is segregated as 49.5 hectares irrigated area, 106.32 hectares unirrigated, the 180.98 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 173.97 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Paler is a census village in the district of Chittorgarh, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 958 and has total administration over 198 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 24 (2.51%) males constitute 13 (1.36%) of the population and females 11 (1.15%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 418 (43.63%) males constitute 198 (20.67%) of the population and females 220 (22.96%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Chittaurgarh and Chittorgarh to sell ghee and make their living.
