Paloda is a small village of 1478 hectares in Garhi Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Paloda depends on Partapur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Paloda is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Paloda's pin code is 327605[4], and village code is 03407600. The area of Paloda is segregated as 414.17 hectares irrigated area, 274.03 hectares unirrigated, the 620.69 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 169.15 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Paloda has One post office (Paloda B.O) and Two Hundred public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Paloda has One bank, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Paloda is a census village in the district of Banswara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 6169 and has total administration over 1360 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Paloda has 716 children, 396 boys and 320 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 538 (8.72%) males constitute 280 (4.54%) of the population and females 258 (4.18%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 1293 (20.96%) males constitute 639 (10.36%) of the population and females 654 (10.60%).

According to a census 2011 report, 3090 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 1790 male, 1300 female with 2230 (72.17%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 1477 males and 753 females. 511 males and 242 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 142 male and 171 female agricultural labor. 860 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Partapur and Banswara to sell juggary and make their living.
