Palsana is a small village of 3186 hectares in Danta Ramgarh Tehsil in Sikar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Palsana depends on Sikar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 1492.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Palsana is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Palsana's pin code is 332402[4], and village code is 01710800. The area of Palsana is segregated as 1492 hectares irrigated area, 1203 hectares unirrigated, the 217 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 193 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Palsana has One post office (Palsana S.O (Sikar)) and Two Hundred Twenty Five public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Palsana has One bank, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Palsana is a census village in the district of Sikar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 13186 and has total administration over 2073 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Palsana has 1822 children, 985 boys and 837 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 2552 (19.35%) males constitute 1308 (9.92%) of the population and females 1244 (9.43%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 345 (2.62%) males constitute 178 (1.35%) of the population and females 167 (1.27%).

The workforce is 3197 male, 1417 female with 4026 (87.26%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 3077 males and 949 females. 698 males and 332 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 473 male and 477 female agricultural labor. 588 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sikar to sell earthen pots and make their living.
