Palwas is a small village of 570 hectares in Sikar Tehsil in Sikar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Palwas depends on Sikar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 179.83% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Palwas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Palwas's pin code is 332042[4], and village code is 01690600. The area of Palwas is segregated as 179.83 hectares irrigated area, 364.79 hectares unirrigated, the 25.12 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves).

Palwas has One post office (Palwas B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Palwas has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Palwas is a census village in the district of Sikar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2450 and has total administration over 445 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Palwas has 332 children, 182 boys and 150 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 572 (23.35%) males constitute 304 (12.41%) of the population and females 268 (10.94%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 4 (0.16%) males constitute 3 (0.12%) of the population and females 1 (0.04%).

The workforce is 650 male, 268 female with 808 (88.02%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 632 males and 176 females. 325 males and 143 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 75 male and 13 female agricultural labor. 110 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sikar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
