Paner is a small village of 1392 hectares in Kishangarh Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Paner depends on Parbatsar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 185.13% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Paner is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Paner's pin code is 305814[4], and village code is 02485100. The area of Paner is segregated as 248.17 hectares irrigated area, 633.04 hectares unirrigated, the 207.35 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 183.26 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Paner has One post office (Paner B.O) and Fifteen public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Paner has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Demographics[edit]

Paner is a census village in the district of Ajmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 3099 and has total administration over 513 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Paner has 495 children, 274 boys and 221 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 735 (23.72%) males constitute 383 (12.36%) of the population and females 352 (11.36%).

The workforce is 780 male, 555 female with 909 (68.09%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 658 males and 251 females. 161 males and 86 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 166 male and 126 female agricultural labor. 426 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Parbatsar and Ajmer to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
