Paniyala is a small village of 1023 hectares in Kotputli Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Paniyala depends on Kotputli, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 35.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Paniyala is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Paniyala's pin code is 303108[4], and village code is 01447700. The area of Paniyala is segregated as 155 hectares irrigated area, 664 hectares unirrigated, the 144 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 60 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Paniyala has One post office (Paniyala B.O) and Six public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Paniyala has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Paniyala is a census village in the district of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 4476 and has total administration over 712 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Paniyala has 807 children, 441 boys and 366 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 517 (11.55%) males constitute 262 (5.85%) of the population and females 255 (5.70%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 496 (11.08%) males constitute 274 (6.12%) of the population and females 222 (4.96%).

The workforce is 1111 male, 1095 female with 950 (43.06%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 897 males and 53 females. 561 males and 38 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 63 male and 1 female agricultural labor. 1256 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kotputli and Jaipur to sell earthen pot and make their living.
