Pankaj Upadhyay

Pankaj Upadhyay (born on 12 December 1976) is a Bollywood and Indian television actor, theatre artist and a writer. He is known for his works in the movies Babumoshai Bandookbaaz(2017), Heartbeats(2017), Naina(2005).

Early Life[edit]

Upadhyay was born in Gorakhpur, in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, to Ram Kumar Upadhyay and Urmila Upadhyay,

as the youngest of their five children. His father worked in a cement corporation company. He completed his high school

from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Akaltala, and his senior secondary(+2) from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Gwalior. He then moved

to Pune to complete his graduation from Symbiosis International in 1995.

Career[edit]

After completing his graduation in 1998 from Symbiosis, he worked in Indian Express and British Physical Laboratories(BPL). But finally in 2003, his passion drove him to Mumbai.^[1] After a bit of struggle he got a debut in an un-credited role in the movie Naina(2005). Since then he has worked in several episodic serials and daily soaps. He has also featured in many advertisement films, theatre works, movies and a web series. In his early days, he mostly featured in villainous jobs.''Later he played variety of roles in Indian television. Pankaj Upadhyay then got a breakthrough again in Babumoshai Bandookbaaz(2017), Heartbeats(2017) and Betaal(2020).

Personal Life[edit]

Upadhyay married to Madhuri on 7 March 2002 and they have 2 children a son and a daughter.
