Pannela is a small village of 2872 hectares in Sheo Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Pannela depends on BARMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Pannela is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Pannela's pin code is 344501[4], and village code is 02084700. The area of Pannela is segregated as 2101.19 hectares unirrigated, the 709.03 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 61.91 hectare area not available for cultivation.
The village is connected with a single bus service. Pannela has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Pannela is a census village in the district of Barmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 827 and has total administration over 169 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 259 (31.32%) males constitute 133 (16.08%) of the population and females 126 (15.24%).

The workforce is 211 male, 68 female with 270 (96.77%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 206 males and 64 females. 150 males and 38 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 42 male and 22 female agricultural labor. 9 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Barmer to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
