Paondera is a small village of 1379 hectares in Chauth Ka Barwara Tehsil in Sawai Madhopur district, also known for Ranthambore National Park in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Paondera depends on SAWAI MADHOPUR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Paondera is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Paondera's pin code is 322702[4], and village code is 01307800. The area of Paondera is segregated as 383 hectares irrigated area, 837 hectares unirrigated, the 87 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 72.15 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Paondera has One post office (Panwdera B.O) and One public telephone. Paondera has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Paondera is a census village in the district of Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2549 and has total administration over 505 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 205 (8.04%) males constitute 107 (4.20%) of the population and females 98 (3.84%).
- Scheduled tribe counts for 101 (3.96%) males constitute 53 (2.08%) of the population and females 48 (1.88%).

According to a census 2011 report, 1223 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 704 male, 519 female with 963 (78.74%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 619 males and 344 females. 236 males and 109 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 222 male and 217 female agricultural labor. 260 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sawai Madhopur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
