Paparda is a small village of 1208 hectares in Dausa Tehsil in Dausa district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Paparda depends on Dausa, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Paparda is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Paparda's pin code is 303506[4], and village code is 01404100. The area of Paparda is segregated as 563 hectares irrigated area, 142 hectares unirrigated, the 418.04 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 85 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Paparda has One post office (Paparda S.O) and Twenty Nine public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Paparda has One bank, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Paparda is a census village in the district of Dausa, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 6394 and has total administration over 1079 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Paparda has 1065 children, 594 boys and 471 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 1344 (21.02%) males constitute 697 (10.90%) of the population and females 647 (10.12%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 2961 (46.31%) males constitute 1566 (24.49%) of the population and females 1395 (21.82%).

According to a census 2011 report, 2441 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 1573 male, 868 female with 2044 (83.74%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 1461 males and 583 females. 590 males and 434 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 186 male and 71 female agricultural labor. 397 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Dausa to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
