Parai is a small village of 820 hectares in Sarada Tehsil in Udaipur district in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Parai depends on Rikhabdeo, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Parai is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Parai's pin code is 313801[4], and village code is 03256500. The area of Parai is segregated as 21 hectares irrigated area, 135 hectares unirrigated, the 121 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 228 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Parai has One post office (Parsad S.O). The village is connected with a single bus service. Parai has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Parai is a census village in the district of Udaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1376 and has total administration over 267 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 22 (1.60%) males constitute 11 (0.80%) of the population and females 11 (0.80%).
- Scheduled tribe counts for 1330 (96.66%) males constitute 679 (49.35%) of the population and females 651 (47.31%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Rikhabdeo and Udaipur to sell basket and make their living.
