Parana is a small village of 406 hectares in Dungla Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Parana depends on Kanor, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 5.19% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Parana is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Parana's pin code is 312404[4], and village code is 03647200. The area of Parana is segregated as 51.64 hectares irrigated area, 158.39 hectares unirrigated, the 142.19 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 53.4 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Parana is a census village in the district of Chittorgarh, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 628 and has total administration over 155 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 97 (15.45%) males constitute 43 (6.85%) of the population and females 54 (8.60%).

The workforce is 167 male, 157 female with 321 (99.07%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 166 males and 155 females. 132 males and 138 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 17 male and 14 female agricultural labor. 3 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kanor and Chittorgarh to sell ghee and make their living.
