Parasli is a small village of 427 hectares in Pirawa Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Parasli depends on Jhalrapatan, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 98.99% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Parasli is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Parasli's pin code is 326036[4], and village code is 04098400. The area of Parasli is segregated as 98.99 hectares irrigated area, 100.81 hectares unirrigated, the 117.86 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 108.88 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Parasli is a census village in the district of Jhalawar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1077 and has total administration over 219 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Parasli has 153 children, 87 boys and 66 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 260 (24.14%) males constitute 138 (12.81%) of the population and females 122 (11.33%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 17 (1.58%) males constitute 10 (0.93%) of the population and females 7 (0.65%).

The workforce is 327 male, 333 female with 433 (65.61%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 284 males and 149 females. 194 males and 100 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 34 male and 42 female agricultural labor. 227 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jhalrapatan and Jhalawar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
