Parasli is a small village of 677 hectares in Rajsamand Tehsil in Rajsamand district, known for Rajsamand Lake, an artificial lake created in the 17th century by Rana Raj Singh in the state of , India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Parasli depends on RAJSAMAND, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 5.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Parasli is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Parasli's pin code is 313334[4], and village code is 03013300. The area of Parasli is segregated as 15 hectares irrigated area, 134 hectares unirrigated, the 301.86 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 226 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Parasli has One post office (Padasali B.O) and Twenty Five public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Parasli has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Parasli is a census village in the district of Rajsamand, . The village has a total population of 1639 and has total administration over 335 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Parasli has 234 children, 139 boys and 95 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 269 (16.41%) males constitute 137 (8.36%) of the population and females 132 (8.05%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 388 (23.67%) males constitute 213 (13.0%) of the population and females 175 (10.68%).

The workforce is 409 male, 192 female with 498 (82.86%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 385 males and 113 females. 75 males and 35 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 20 male and 8 female agricultural labor. 103 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Rajsamand to sell juggary and make their living.
