Parbati is a small village of 246 hectares in Bari Sadri Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Parbati depends on Bari Sadri, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 47.32% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Parbati is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Parbati's pin code is 312403[4], and village code is 03705800. The area of Parbati is segregated as 127.32 hectares irrigated area, 80.05 hectares unirrigated, the 20.61 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 17.92 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Parbati has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Parbati is a census village in the district of Chittorgarh, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 489 and has total administration over 122 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Parbati has 82 children, 44 boys and 38 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 90 (18.40%) males constitute 38 (7.77%) of the population and females 52 (10.63%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 277 (56.65%) males constitute 133 (27.20%) of the population and females 144 (29.45%).

The workforce is 145 male, 157 female with 290 (96.03%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 139 males and 151 females. 110 males and 119 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 19 male and 25 female agricultural labor. 12 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bari Sadri and Chittorgarh to sell ghee and make their living.
