Paride Saraceni (born 22 January 1991, Vasto, Italy) is an Italian electronic music producer and DJ currently based in London.[1] He began his career in 2009, making his debut at a DJ competition in Riccione, Italy.[2] Saraceni's music is known for its dramatic and cinematic elements, often reflecting complex emotional landscapes.[3]

Career[edit]

Saraceni discovered dance music through video games, which influenced his perception of music as an atmospheric component that enhances various environments. He gained notable recognition in the techno scene when his single "New Age Acids" was featured on Carl Cox's Global Underground 038: Black Rock Desert compilation in 2009.[4]

Saraceni has produced several significant works, including the "Burning" EP, released by Adam Beyer's Truesoul label in January 2016, which achieved #3 on Beatport's chart. His "The Other Side" EP, released on Monika Kruse's Terminal M Records, further solidified his reputation in the industry.[5]

He has collaborated with and remixed tracks for prominent artists such as Maya Jane Coles, whose compilation Fabric 75 featured Saraceni's track "Dissolute," and Enrico Sangiuliano. In 2016, he remixed Coles' "Won't Let You Down," published by I/Am/Me, and in 2017, his production "Betrayal" was remixed by Nicole Moudaber.[6]

Saraceni has performed at various notable venues and festivals around the world, including Loveland (Netherlands), Mácháč Festival (Czech Republic), Cielo (New York), Womb (Tokyo), and Egg London. He has also participated in significant events, such as Drumcode showcases and performances at stages hosted by Maya Jane Coles across the UK.[7]

Saraceni's approach to sound design reflects an understanding of musical structure and technical functionality. His music often explores the contrasts and nuances within modern club aesthetics.[8]

Saraceni has been featured in various music publications, including HuffPost, Mixmag, and Dancing Astronaut. He has also appeared on UK television channels such as BBC and Channel 4. His latest releases include "From Silence To Silence—Chapter II" and "Barcelondon." He is a prominent figure in the electronic music scene, making significant contributions to the genre.
