Parwan is a small village of 626 hectares in Phagi Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Parwan depends on Malpura, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Parwan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Parwan's pin code is 303005[4], and village code is 01535000. The area of Parwan is segregated as 207 hectares irrigated area, 292 hectares unirrigated, the 22 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 104.63 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Malpura and Jaipur to sell wood furniture and make their living.
