Patience Masisi (born 24 December 1961) is a South African military officer, who is currently serving as the Director Military Health Human Resources at the South African National Defence Force.^[1] She previously served as a defence advisor in Ghana.^[2][3] In 2006, she became the first black woman ever to have completed a commander's course at École Militaire, the world's oldest functioning military institute.
