Patna is a small village of 787 hectares in Chhabra Tehsil in Baran district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Patna depends on Baran, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Patna is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Patna's pin code is 325220[4], and village code is 03888000. The area of Patna is segregated as 263.9 hectares irrigated area, 346.06 hectares unirrigated, the 138.67 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 38.62 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Patna has One post office (Mundkya B.O) and One public telephone. Patna has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Patna is a census village in the district of Baran, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2133 and has total administration over 402 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Patna has 259 children, 138 boys and 121 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 362 (16.97%) males constitute 186 (8.72%) of the population and females 176 (8.25%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 654 (30.66%) males constitute 361 (16.92%) of the population and females 293 (13.74%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Baran to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
