Payri is a small village of 320 hectares in Bari Sadri Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Payri depends on Bari Sadri, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 25.05% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Payri is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Payri's pin code is 312403[4], and village code is 03711000. The area of Payri is segregated as 31.63 hectares irrigated area, 92.79 hectares unirrigated, the 109.55 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 64.03 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Payri has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Payri is a census village in the district of Chittorgarh, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 784 and has total administration over 186 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Payri has 143 children, 75 boys and 68 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 75 (9.57%) males constitute 41 (5.23%) of the population and females 34 (4.34%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 699 (89.16%) males constitute 354 (45.15%) of the population and females 345 (44.01%).

The workforce is 211 male, 222 female with 312 (72.06%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 197 males and 115 females. 107 males and 67 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 64 male and 46 female agricultural labor. 121 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bari Sadri and Chittorgarh to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
