Peelwa is a small village of 2054 hectares in Parbatsar Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Peelwa depends on Parbatsar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 632.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Peelwa is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Peelwa's pin code is 341503[4], and village code is 01874000. The area of Peelwa is segregated as 632 hectares irrigated area, 1062 hectares unirrigated, the 68 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 92.01 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Peelwa has One post office (Peelwa B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Peelwa has One bank and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Peelwa is a census village in the district of Nagaur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 4268 and has total administration over 825 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 1119 (26.22%) males constitute 549 (12.86%) of the population and females 570 (13.36%).

The workforce is 1133 male, 850 female with 1314 (66.26%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 1095 males and 219 females. 360 males and 78 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 363 male and 79 female agricultural labor. 669 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Parbatsar and Nagaur to sell earthen pots and make their living.
