Peenani is a small village of 706 hectares in Malpura Tehsil in Tonk district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Peenani depends on Malpura, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Peenani is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Peenani's pin code is 304504[4], and village code is 02594200. The area of Peenani is segregated as 117 hectares irrigated area, 440.51 hectares unirrigated, the 40 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 108 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Peenani has One public telephone. Peenani has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Peenani is a census village in the district of Tonk, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1171 and has total administration over 210 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 268 (22.89%) males constitute 140 (11.96%) of the population and females 128 (10.93%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 198 (16.91%) males constitute 101 (8.63%) of the population and females 97 (8.28%).

The workforce is 314 male, 272 female with 455 (77.65%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 286 males and 169 females. 130 males and 129 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 21 male and 21 female agricultural labor. 131 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Malpura and Tonk to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
