Peepalda is a small village of 422 hectares in Gangdhar Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Peepalda depends on Jhalawar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 5.07% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Peepalda is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Peepalda's pin code is 326514[4], and village code is 03990600. The area of Peepalda is segregated as 312.63 hectares irrigated area, 34.04 hectares unirrigated, the 55.76 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 19.46 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Peepalda is a census village in the district of Jhalawar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1208 and has total administration over 230 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Peepalda has 175 children, 92 boys and 83 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 196 (16.23%) males constitute 106 (8.77%) of the population and females 90 (7.45%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 152 (12.58%) males constitute 77 (6.37%) of the population and females 75 (6.21%).

The workforce is 386 male, 350 female with 278 (37.77%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 265 males and 13 females. 218 males and 5 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 16 male and 7 female agricultural labor. 458 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jhalawar to sell ghee and make their living.
