Peeth is a small village of 1219 hectares in Simalwara Tehsil in Dungarpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Peeth depends on Dungarpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 150.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Peeth is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Peeth's pin code is 314406[4], and village code is 03363600. The area of Peeth is segregated as 255 hectares irrigated area, 492 hectares unirrigated, the 89.81 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 382 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Peeth is a census village in the district of Dungarpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 6561 and has total administration over 1370 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 306 (4.66%) males constitute 147 (2.24%) of the population and females 159 (2.42%).
- Scheduled tribe counts for 2207 (33.64%) males constitute 1130 (17.22%) of the population and females 1077 (16.42%).

The workforce is 1738 male, 870 female with 1444 (55.37%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 1268 males and 176 females. 271 males and 27 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 87 male and 47 female agricultural labor. 1164 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Dungarpur to sell ghee and make their living.
