Pehal is a small village of 1626 hectares in Mandawar Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Pehal depends on KHAIRTHAL, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 406.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Pehal is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Pehal's pin code is 301404[4], and village code is 00780700. The area of Pehal is segregated as 873 hectares irrigated area, 467 hectares unirrigated, the 13 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 101 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Pehal has One post office (Pahel B.O) and Eighteen public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Pehal has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Pehal is a census village in the district of Alwar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 6251 and has total administration over 1067 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Pehal has 986 children, 537 boys and 449 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 1703 (27.24%) males constitute 886 (14.17%) of the population and females 817 (13.07%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 176 (2.82%) males constitute 86 (1.38%) of the population and females 90 (1.44%).

The workforce is 1602 male, 1162 female with 1534 (55.5%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 1330 males and 204 females. 627 males and 133 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 126 male and 15 female agricultural labor. 1230 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of KHAIRTHAL and Alwar to sell earthen pot and make their living.
