Peraniya Dev is a small village of 200 hectares in Kushalgarh Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Peraniya Dev depends on Kushalgarh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Peraniya Dev is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Peraniya Dev's pin code is 327801[4], and village code is 03519600. The area of Peraniya Dev is segregated as 8 hectares irrigated area, 81 hectares unirrigated, the 39 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 45 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Peraniya Dev has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The workforce is 86 male, 91 female with 68 (38.42%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 38 males and 30 females. 23 males and 2 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 15 male and 26 female agricultural labor. 109 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kushalgarh and Banswara to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
