Peshua is a small village of 627 hectares in Pindwara Tehsil in Sirohi district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Peshua depends on PINDWARA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 40.00% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Peshua is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Peshua's pin code is 307022[4], and village code is 02363600. The area of Peshua is segregated as 145 hectares irrigated area, 236 hectares unirrigated, remaining 246 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Peshua has One post office (Peshua B.O) and Two public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Peshua has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Peshua is a census village in the district of Sirohi, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1469 and has total administration over 2880 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Peshua has 257 children, 214 boys and 859 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 444 (30.22%) males constitute 415 (28.25%) of the population and females 552 (37.58%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 275 (18.72%) males constitute 277 (18.86%) of the population and females 1409 (95.92%).

The workforce is 417 male, 668 female with 614 (80.47%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 54 males and 113 females. 7 males and 144 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 29 male and 165 female agricultural labor. 149 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of PINDWARA and Sirohi to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
