Petro Olenych (born July 27, 1982, Ochakiv) — Chief Digital Transformation Officer of Kyiv (CDTO) and Deputy Mayor of Kyiv Vitali Klitschko.
Coordinates the activities of the Departments of Information and Communication Technologies, Land Resources, Urban planning and Architecture.
In 1988 entered the secondary school №4 in Ochakiv.
From 1995 to 1999 studied at the Physics and Mathematics of Ochakiv City Lyceum. I.S. Shestaki at Odessa University and received a general secondary education;

In an interview with The Guardian, Olenych said that the focus of the application changed in the first 24 hours after the invasion - "Kyiv Digital" became the first mobile application in Ukraine, which began to report Civil defense siren[17].

On March 3, 2022, Olenych addressed Kyiv's Internet providers with a proposal to organize a connection to Kyiv's Wi-Fi storage facilities[22].
On March 9, a platform was created to connect to the Internet in the Air raid shelter of Kyiv[23]. Later, this feature appeared in the application Kyiv Digital, other List of cities in Ukraine|Ukrainian cities also began to connect the Internet in Air raid shelter[24].
As of Monday, April 12, according to the platform, 1145 applications for connection have been received, more than 815 Air raid shelter in Kyiv are connected to Wi-Fi[25].
