Pewa is a small village of 1594 hectares in Sikar Tehsil in Sikar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Pewa depends on Losal, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 957.66% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Pewa is also surrounded by Two lakes. They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Losal and Sikar to sell earthen pots and make their living.
