Phalki is a small village of 1632 hectares in Merta Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Phalki depends on Merta City, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Phalki is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Phalki's pin code is 341510[4], and village code is 01840900. The area of Phalki is segregated as 1302 hectares irrigated area, 126.04 hectares unirrigated, the 111 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 93 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The village is connected with a single bus service. Phalki has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Phalki is a census village in the district of Nagaur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2200 and has total administration over 442 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Phalki has 253 children, 140 boys and 113 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 504 (22.91%) males constitute 264 (12.0%) of the population and females 240 (10.91%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 6 (0.27%) males constitute 5 (0.23%) of the population and females 1 (0.05%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Merta City and Nagaur to sell oil and make their living.
