Pinan is a small village of 1714 hectares in Rajgarh Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Pinan depends on RAJGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Pinan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Pinan's pin code is 301413[4], and village code is 00912800. The area of Pinan is segregated as 1075 hectares irrigated area, 454 hectares unirrigated, the 46 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 139 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Pinan has One post office (Pinan B.O) and One Hundred Fourteen public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Pinan is a census village in the district of Alwar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 9099 and has total administration over 1485 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
- Pinan has 1430 children, 786 boys and 644 girls.
- Scheduled caste counts for 1271 (13.97%) males constitute 692 (7.61%) of the population and females 579 (6.36%).
- Scheduled tribe counts for 1551 (17.05%) males constitute 844 (9.28%) of the population and females 707 (7.77%).

According to a census 2011 report, 4677 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 2472 male, 2205 female with 2900 (62.01%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 1983 males and 917 females. 1254 males and 780 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 34 male and 19 female agricultural labor. 1777 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of RAJGARH and Alwar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
