Pipalda is a small village of 514 hectares in Mangrol Tehsil in Baran district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Pipalda depends on Mangrol, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Pipalda is also near by One lake. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Pipalda's pin code is 325206[4], and village code is 03858400. The area of Pipalda is segregated as 17 hectares unirrigated, the 240 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 66 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Pipalda has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Pipalda is a census village in the district of Baran, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 351 and has total administration over 69 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Pipalda has 65 children, 26 boys and 39 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 48 (13.68%) males constitute 26 (7.41%) of the population and females 22 (6.27%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 224 (63.82%) males constitute 106 (30.20%) of the population and females 118 (33.62%).

The workforce is 87 male, 25 female with 89 (79.46%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 78 males and 11 females. 54 males and 3 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 2 male and 2 female agricultural labor. 23 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Mangrol and Baran to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
