Piplara is a small village of 93 hectares in Garhi Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Piplara depends on Partapur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 12.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Piplara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Piplara's pin code is 327032[4], and village code is 03420300. The area of Piplara is segregated as 39 hectares irrigated area, 19 hectares unirrigated, the 20 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 15 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The village is connected with a single bus service. Piplara has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Piplara is a census village in the district of Banswara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 473 and has total administration over 100 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Piplara has 77 children, 32 boys and 45 girls.
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 471 (99.58%) males constitute 233 (49.26%) of the population and females 238 (50.32%).

The workforce is 121 male, 112 female with 100 (42.92%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 91 males and 9 females. 66 males and 3 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 21 males. 133 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Partapur and Banswara to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
