Piprau is a small village of 654 hectares in Nadbai Tehsil in Bharatpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Piprau depends on Nadbai, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Piprau is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Piprau's pin code is 321614[4], and village code is 01017000. The area of Piprau is segregated as 467 hectares irrigated area, 133 hectares unirrigated, the 1 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 53 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Piprau has One post office (Piprau B.O) and One public telephone. Piprau has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Piprau is a census village in the district of Bharatpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 3321 and has total administration over 487 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Piprau has 583 children, 308 boys and 275 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 1097 (33.03%) males constitute 565 (17.01%) of the population and females 532 (16.02%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 24 (0.72%) males constitute 12 (0.36%) of the population and females 12 (0.36%).

The workforce is 902 male, 883 female with 892 (49.97%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 737 males and 155 females. 465 males and 29 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 123 male and 58 female agricultural labor. 893 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Nadbai and Bharatpur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
