Pola Pan is a small village of 279 hectares in Bagidora Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Pola Pan depends on Jhalod (Gujrat), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Pola Pan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Pola Pan's pin code is 327601[4], and village code is 03485700. The area of Pola Pan is segregated as 17 hectares irrigated area, 213.58 hectares unirrigated, the 35 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 13 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Pola Pan has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Pola Pan is a census village in the district of Banswara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1799 and has total administration over 311 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Pola Pan has 395 children, 190 boys and 205 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 55 (3.06%) males constitute 30 (1.67%) of the population and females 25 (1.39%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 1728 (96.05%) males constitute 859 (47.75%) of the population and females 869 (48.30%).

The workforce is 459 male, 441 female with 228 (25.33%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 178 males and 50 females. 148 males and 12 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 21 male and 33 female agricultural labor. 672 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jhalod (Gujrat) and Banswara to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
