Based in Kakinada, the company aims to create street-smart and futuristic electric motorcycles. Power Electric Vehicles intends to establish outlets across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in the first phase. The company later plans to expand its dealership presence across India[4].
Power Electric Vehicles has launched two bike models with different attributes. Its P-Sport electric motorcycle comes with a range of 150 km and 210 km variants. The P-Sport has a top speed of 85 km/h and a battery capacity of 4.3 kWh, which is optimal for the Indian driving conditions[5].
The Power EV 72V – 40/60Ah lithium battery is removable, which takes about three hours to get fully charged. Its battery is equipped with air-cooled technology and also comes with a battery swapping facility[6]. The bike model is offered in three driving modes: Eco, Standard, and Turbo.
Power electric vehicles come with self-diagnosis technology and user-friendly integration. It also has a personalized mobile application to track battery health at all times. The company provides free services for a year and also plans to set up fast charging points in different spots in the city[7].
