Pratapgarh is a small village of 942 hectares in Raipur Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Pratapgarh depends on Beawar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Pratapgarh is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Pratapgarh's pin code is 306101[4], and village code is 02410000. The area of Pratapgarh is segregated as 142.16 hectares irrigated area, 315.14 hectares unirrigated, the 385.33 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 68.25 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Pratapgarh is a census village in the district of Pali, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1828 and has total administration over 369 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

The workforce is 548 male, 504 female with 513 (48.76%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 417 males and 96 females. 220 males and 62 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 18 male and 10 female agricultural labor. 539 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Beawar and Pali to sell earthen pot and make their living.
