Chris Dudley (born 4 January 1986), professionally known by his stage name Propain, is an African-American Rapper & Entrepreneur. He ranks amongst the short list of Rap Legends from the great City of Houston. Propain is widely respected for his consistency and ability to release consecutive bodies of work (Albums), all of which have been and will continue to be highly acclaimed and received in the music industry.[1]

Early Life[edit]
Propain was destined to be exactly who he's become in the music industry, The gift of music and lyricism has been prevalent since he was a kid. While growing up, he was heavily influenced by several hip-hop artists such as Jay-Z, Nas, and Andre 3000 to name a few.
It’s safe to say Propain has mastered the art of manifestation as he continues to live out his own dreams all while creating opportunities for up & coming creatives to be a part of the Propain legacy as well.

Propain has achieved mainstream success all while keeping his relatability and connection with his loyal audience alive. Even amidst the Pandemic, He has been and will continue to be regarded as one of Houston’s leading MC’s who always gets it right when it comes to expanding his catalog and legacy as one of the greats. Propain has also been dedicated to giving back within the Houston Community, Not for press or recognition but because there are needs within every community. Propain is a solidified Hometown Hero.[3][4]
