Querim is a small village of 405 hectares in Ponda Tehsil in North Goa district, known and rated to have the best quality of life in India (based on the commission’s “12 Indicators”)[2] in the state of Goa, India.[3] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Querim depends on PERNEM, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[4] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and One spring. Querim is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Querim's pin code is 403401[5], and village code is 00000200. The area of Querim is segregated as 14.85 hectares irrigated area, 184.4 hectares unirrigated, the 6.51 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 199.45 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Querim is a census village in the district of North Goa, Goa. The village has a total population of 3038 and has total administration over 693 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
As per the census 2011 report, 2446 people are literate in Querim out of which 1342 are males and 1104 are females.

According to a census 2011 report, 1302 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 947 male, 355 female with 708 (54.38%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 587 males and 121 females. 45 males and 45 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 7 males and 1 female agricultural labor. 594 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of PERNEM and North Goa to sell country liquor and make their living.
