RADICALS is a Sydney-based Australian rock band, consisting of Brandon Wade (vocals/guitar), Myles Harrison (drums), Nick Abdul-Karim (bass), and Lachlan Heald (guitar).[1]
RADICALS was formed in 2019 by Brandon Wade, Myles Harrison and Nick Abdul-Karim. After selling out their first gig, they went on to support Ruby Fields and the Dead Love, before heading to the Gold Coast for their first out-of-state show.[2]
The band launched their debut single "stay" on March 21st 2020, garnering over 150,000 streams and seeing the band sell out three more performances before releasing "call" in May and "eyes" in October of the same year.[3]
The group continued to tour through 2021, with gigs at the Factory, Huxleys, the Chippo, and Highfield Caringbah all selling out. They released their next singles "I Hate Myself" on March 31st and "Untitled" on November 5th of the same year.[4]
On 12th November RADICALS announced via Instagram that Lachlan Heald had officially joined the band.
In late 2021 the band we’re announced in the line-ups for Spaced Out Festival and Yours & Owls, alongside performers such as Hilltop Hoods, Violent Soho, Wolfmother, and many others.
On February 4th, they released their latest single "falling faster slowly", as well as the announcement of their debut EP "take it or leave it," which has yet to be released.
